Autobiography

I, Kim Alla Mikhailovna, was born on April 29, 1951 in the village of Kirovsk (Terekti), Almaty region, in the family of an employee. My father, Mikhail Ivanovich Tsoi, a colonel of justice, worked as a senior assistant prosecutor of the Kazakh SSR. My mother, Kim Lema Sergeevna, worked as the chief auditor of Almaty. In 1968 I graduated with a gold medal from secondary school No. 94 in Almaty and entered the 1st year of the Faculty of Psychology of Leningrad (St. Petersburg University), graduated with a red diploma in 1973. There, in 1982, I completed full-time postgraduate studies and defended my PhD thesis with a degree in 19.00.03. I defended my doctoral thesis at al-Farabi Kazakh National University in 2002 with a degree in 19.00.01. In 2004, I received the academic title of professor.For 25 years I was a foreign member of the British Psychological Society (1999-2024). I have been a foreign member of the American Psychological Association for 7 years.
